Overview

Returning to the NBL after being selected in the 2026 NBA Draft, Malique joins the Taipans for his third season in the league.

Initially recruited by the league as a Next Star after time in the G League and Spanish Liga ACB, the athletic forward would represent SE Melbourne for 63 games where he averaged 6.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Recording a high of 23 points last season, plus a 13 point, 10 rebound and six assist double-double, the Trinidadian has signed with Cairns as he makes the next step in his career.
