Overview
Making his return to Cairns after time with the Perth Wildcats and Akita Northern Happinets in Japan, Keanu will wear orange for the 2026-27 NBL season.
Suiting up under Adam Forde for his third season as a Taipan, the talented forward first arrived in the Far North in 2021 after his debut season in Adelaide.
Jumping from an average of 4.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in his season as a 36er to 16.9 points and 9.3 boards in his second season in Cairns, Pinder won back-to-back NBL Most Improved Player awards while making a strong MVP push before he suffered a season ending injury.
Moving west to join the Perth Wildcats in 2023, he played a key role in their consecutive post-season runs, with his impressive season drawing interest from Asia.
First playing four games in China, Pinder averaging 16.3 points and 7.2 rebounds in his season with Akita while developing his perimeter shooting.
