Biography

Angus Henskens joined the Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans after six seasons developing in the Sydney Kings program.

Starting with the Kings in 2019 as an intern coach (developed under Will Weaver), he continued through Adam Forde’s tenure before becoming video coordinator in 2022.

Henskens also coached with the Norths Bears across NBL1 and the Waratah Youth Leagues, sharpening the connection between footage, fundamentals and game plan.

Arriving in the Far North after finishing the 2024–25 season as a two-time NBL champion with the Kings, Henskens bringing an intuitive coach’s eye, a video room’s precision and teaching the game the right way.
