The Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans will be without a series of players when they open the 2026 NBL Blitz tomorrow night.
Jaylin Galloway (shoulder) will miss the Blitz alongside brother Kyrin who sustained a right ankle sprain against Melbourne on Saturday, with development player Lloyd McVeigh taking his place.
After picking up an ankle injury last month and being ruled out of the pre-season, Luke Paul's stint on the sidelines continues with Brody Nunn replacing him.
Sunday Dech will also miss the first game of the Blitz after experiencing right hamstring tightness, and will be replaced by Luca Yates.
