Ticketing Info

With the schedule only finalised today, limited tickets for the Cairns Pop-Up Arena will be available in-store at Taipans HQ from Monday 7 December for late renewing members only. General sales (subject to availability) will begin Friday 11 December 2020.
 
Please Note: this is an initial ticket release, the club is currently working with the venue to increase capacity, with more seating potentially available at a later date. The seating map is in construction and in reflection to necessary COVID restrictions and NBL protocols. 

Taipans HQ is currently experiencing a large number of enquiries, please read the following carefully:

 2020-21 MEMBERS ALREADY SIGNED UP 

Do nothing! You will have seats at both the Pop-up Arena and the Convention Centre. Seating at the pop-up will be allocated (map is currently still in construction) however the club will endeavour to have seats reflect membership category (Fast Break, Slam Dunk, Gold etc.) as best as possible. Taipans HQ will be in touch with more information closer to the season.

 2019-20 MEMBERS NOT YET SIGNED UP 
 
You will get first priority to purchase an eight-game package at the pop-up. Please see dates and details below. Please note our in-store and over the phone ticket release schedule to enable fair access for our existing members not yet renewed. Tickets will not be available to purchase online.
 
 GENERAL PUBLIC OR NON-MEMBERS 
 
General sales for the pop-up will begin on Friday either in-store or over the phone, subject to availability. Single game tickets are not available, only eight-game packages. Current members are also able to purchase additional seats from this date. Tickets will not be available to purchase online.

 TICKET RELEASE 

• Monday 7 December & Tuesday 8 December: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  In-store ticket purchases only
•  Wednesday 9 December & Thursday 10 December: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  In-store purchases AND ticket sales via phone only
• Friday 11 December: from 8:30am onwards
  Non-members and general sales available in-store and via phone, subject to availability

 BREAKDOWN 

•  Late renewing members get priority purchase for tickets at the Cairns Pop-Up Arena from Monday 7 – Thursday 10 December.
• Members can only renew the same number of seats as they held in 2019-20.
• General public and non-members will be able to purchase tickets from 8:30am, Friday 11 December (subject to availability) in-store or over the phone. Members can also purchase additional tickets from this date.
• In the event that ticketing is exhausted, and further seating becomes available, names will be added to a waitlist (first-come, first-serve) for next release.
• Only eight-game packages are available to purchase. Tickets for subsequent Taipans home games in 2021 will be available in conjunction with the release of the remainder of the NBL schedule.
