After his 3x3 World Cup effort, Alex Higgins-Titsha has flown into San Francisco where he’s linked up with Taran Armstrong for the NBA Summer League.

The Taipans forward recently joined the Golden State Warriors for a mini camp where he impressed the NBA franchise, leading to the opportunity to join them for the off-season competition.

Along with Higgins-Titsha, the Taipans will be well represented in the side with Taran Armstrong also named in the side after signing a two-way deal with the Warriors in February, and the franchise extending a qualifying offer to the guard last month.

Former-Sydney King Alex Toohey has also joined the duo after his draft rights were traded to Golden State from the Phoenix Suns.

The Warriors have gone 1-2 at the California Classic with Armstrong appearing for two games whilst Higgins-Titsha is yet to hit the court, and the pair will now head to Las Vegas for the NBA Summer League from July 10-20.

Armstrong and Higgins-Titsha join the growing list of appearances by Taipans at the annual event, with the likes of Sam Waardenburg, Adam Forde, Bobi Klintman and DJ Hogg all making appearances over recent years.

Taipans Head Coach Adam Forde will not be making an appearance in Las Vegas this year, however joined the Utah Jazz at the Salt Lake City Summer League instead, with the team going undefeated across their three games.

Joining Forde in the coaching ranks of the Western Conference side was Andrew Warren, a former Taipans import from the 2011-12 season who has since made the transition into coaching.
