Fresh off leading an Australia Select team on a trip to China, Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans guard Reyne Smith will join the Boomers for their next round of World Cup Qualifiers.
Facing both Guam and the Philippines in Perth, Smith will line up alongside Taipans Jack McVeigh and newly signed Keanu Pinder, with Cairns supplying the most players for the fixtures.
Nominated as captain for a series of Friendly international fixtures in China last week, Smith averaged 15 points, three rebounds and 2.5 assists with his side going 1-1 against their hosts and the Netherlands.
With a spot in the Boomers lineup opening shortly after, Smith will step in and make his way to RAC Arena to join the national side, as they look to remain undefeated in the opening round of World Cup Qualifiers.
Also suiting up in the green and gold is former-Taipan Taran Armstrong.
Catch all the action live on ESPN, when the Australian Boomers take on Guam and the Philippines on July 3 and 6, with both games starting at 8:30pm AEST.
