CQUniversity Cairns Taipans star forward Keanu Pinder has been ruled out of tomorrow's New Year's Eve clash, due to an injury sustained in the last game against Melbourne.
Scans have revealed a lateral ligament strain on his left ankle. He will be assessed again over the weekend to determine if he can return to the Taipans line-up on Monday, for Illawarra.
