Compression brand o2fit joins Taipans

The CQUniversity Cairns Taipans have partnered with o2fit as an official supplier for the 2021-22 NBL season, providing the team with all their compression needs.

Established in 2013, o2fit offer high quality and affordable compression wear for all people - elite athletes, junior sportspeople, someone recovering from injury or surgery or people enjoying the comfort of compression wear.

Taipans CEO Mark Beecroft said he was happy to welcome 02fit into the family.

“We are pleased to partner with o2fit as a local Australian company that are focused on providing affordable compression wear, that is accessible for everyone.

“We know how much our fans – particularly our younger ones – want to be able to wear whatever brands the players are representing.

“This partnership will ensure that when young players at Cairns Basketball want the exact same compression as the Taipans, it’s at a more reasonable price.”

o2fit owner Allira Collidge said that she was thrilled to partner with the community-owned, family-friendly Taipans.

“The Taipans boast a really strong, community-focused club and are so well-regarded across the country for how they operate,” she said.

“They are the perfect team to join forces with – they are also known for punching above their weight and we are thrilled to be on the journey with them this NBL season.”

The Taipans play their first game back at the Cairns Convention Centre this Saturday, 7:00pm against the JackJumpers.
