The Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans announce that Jack McVeigh has not passed his game-day fitness test, and has been ruled out for both games in Round 6. The forward will be a game-day decision on Thursday 30 October in Brisbane.
McVeigh injured his wrist the last time the Taipans faced the Bullets (Round 2) and will now join Sam Waardenburg (ankle) on the sidelines.
Nominated replacement player Lachlan Barker continues to replace Waardenburg in his absence, while development players Lloyd McVeigh and Jed Richardson will be suiting up for both Round 6 fixtures in Cairns.
