In a dream come true for our homegrown hero, Nate Jawai finally got to take his team – the CQUniversity Cairns Taipans – to his old stomping grounds of Bamaga.
The special pre-season trip served as an emotional and educational experience for the playing group, as they prepared for the upcoming 2021-22 NBL season under new head coach Adam Forde.
