Seeding Qualifier: Thursday Night

After a spectacular regular season, the play-offs are here and the CQUniversity Cairns Taipans have finished third on the ladder, with a brilliant 18-10 record. For teams outside of the top two, it means the NBL's new PLAY-IN TOURNAMENT is part of the journey to the Championship this year. Read more here: NBL23 Finals

First up, Cairns is hosting a “seeding” game against the Tasmania JackJumpers on Thursday night.
If we win, we immediately progress through to the semi-finals and head to New Zealand!
 
If we lose, Cairns will host the “play-in" game and face the winner of the play-in qualifier (either Phoenix or Wildcats) this Sunday afternoon. This play-in game is sudden death, so the winner will advance to the semi-finals and face Sydney!
