Feature: Taipans Academy - Girls Pilot

A look at the TAG PILOT! 💜🏀

In 2024, the Taipans Academy - Girls engaged six high schools across Cairns and hosted a special Open Day available to any girls in the region aged 14-16 years old. Delivered by TAG Head Coach Sam Woosnam, Taipans players and coaches, but also supported by female athletes, CQUniversity High Performance staff and NBL Assists, the pilot achieved great outcomes for the participants and built a strong program model for the future.
