The National Basketball League has confirmed the Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans’ Round 16 game against the Brisbane Bullets has been rescheduled to Monday 12 January at the Cairns Convention Centre, tip-off 6:30pm AEST. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
The fixture (originally scheduled for Saturday 10 January) was postponed after the Cairns Convention Centre enacted its Emergency Response Plan on Friday due to warnings associated with Tropical Low 12U.
The venue is currently doing their formal asssessment checks, which will be straightforward given there's been no weather event.
All of Saturday's tickets remain valid for the rescheduled game on Monday night and it will now be a regular home game.
The Taipans’ annual Blackout x IFYS Foster Care charity game will now be held on Sunday, 1 February against the Sydney Kings at the Cairns Convention Centre.
The Club apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the Cairns community for its understanding.
Note: Taipans HQ is closed this weekend but the team will endeavour to respond to emails (please contact tickets@taipans.com).
