Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans center Tanner Groves has not travelled for the team's road double header, after his return date was extended.
Groves sustained a calf injury in the Round 3 clash against Tasmania and is expected to return in Round 7, and joins Taran Armstrong (ankle) on the sidelines.
Taipans development player Kody Stattmann enters the line-up in Armstrong's place, with fellow development player Alex Higgins-Titsha continuing to fill the spot of Groves.
