The Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans will be missing Taran Armstrong and Tanner Groves for tomorrow's clash against the Perth Wildcats.
Armstrong rolled his ankle in warmup against Melbourne United on Sunday, and has since been diagnosed with a Grade 1 sprain.
He will miss the Round 4 double-header and will be a game day decision on Saturday 19 October, vs Illawarra Hawks.
Tanner Groves missed the Melbourne road trip due to a calf injury he sustained against Tasmania.
He has been ruled out for 3-4 weeks and is currently expected to return in Round 6.
Nominated injury replacement player Tad Dufelmeier will return to the roster for Armstrong, while Taipans development player Alex Higgins-Titsha will be elevated in place of Groves.
