CQUniversity Cairns Taipans guard Tahjere McCall will miss this weekend and remain sidelined with Stephen Zimmerman (knee) and Mirko Djeric (quad).
McCall injured his hip in the game against the Phoenix last Friday, and is still recovering. He is expected to return during the next round.
Taipans training player Ben Ayre will be elevated to the roster for the first time this season.
The Taipans host the Phoenix tomorrow at the Cairns Convention Centre, before facing the Breakers in Tasmania on Monday night.
