The CQUniversity Cairns Taipans remain without Nathan Jawai (groin) Jarrod Kenny (back) and Kouat Noi (knee) with their return dates still unclear at this stage. They will not play in any games throughout Round 12.
Taipans training player Robbie Heath was also ruled out of the Taipans road trip after sustaining a lateral ankle injury during the team’s on-court session before departure.
While assessed as not serious by team physios, Heath was ruled out as the two games in 72 hours would not provide sufficient recovery time.
The Taipans face the Hawks tonight (6:30pm AEST) and the 36ers on Sunday (12:00pm AEST).
