Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans guard Mojave King will miss today’s game against the Jackjumpers due to a glute strain sustained during the week. He will be replaced by development player Lloyd McVeigh and is expected to return next round on 19 December.
Marcus Lee will be a game-time decision.
Meanwhile, Sam Waardenburg will make his long-awaited season debut, and Jack McVeigh returns to the line-up after missing last week due to personal reasons.
The Taipans host Tasmania today at the Cairns Convention Centre, 4:30pm AEST.
