The Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans have unveiled the return of one of the most striking kits in the league, bringing back the Blackout jersey in collaboration with IFYS Foster Care.
Venomous and unapologetically bold, the Blackout jersey strips the Taipans identity back to its sharpest edges.
A dark, scale-inspired base punctuated by vivid orange detailing that pierces through the design.
Beyond its on-court presence, the jersey carries much deeper meaning through its partnership with IFYS Foster Care, highlighting the club’s ongoing commitment to community connection beyond basketball.
The Blackout jersey is available now online and at the game, ahead of the Taipans suiting up in the kit for their clash against the Sydney Kings on Sunday, 1 February at the Cairns Convention Centre.
This will be the eleventh Blackout game for the club, with the Taipans holding a 6-4 winning record and 3-1 record under Taipans Head Coach Adam Forde.
146 jerseys have been auctioned with $140k raised across 10 years.
