Cairns Taipans guard Jackson Makoi will arrive late to the 2024 NBL Blitz and subsequently will miss the first pre-season game against Melbourne United.
Makoi has had to travel to Melbourne for personal reasons, but will return ahead of the club’s game against Sydney on Monday night.
Adnam (knee) will also be sidelined (for the remainder of the tournament) while Taipans development players Kody Stattmann and Alex Higgins-Titsha will suit up.
