CQUniversity Cairns Taipans players Mojave King and Venky Jois have not travelled with the team for the last road trip of the season, and will miss the remaining two matches.
Mojave King injured his left ankle on Wednesday against the Brisbane Bullets (Round 20) and the sprain has not healed as quickly as expected.
Venky Jois has also completed his season and due to the recent passing of a family member, needs to return home as soon as possible.
The Taipans play United tomorrow in Sydney before finishing their 2021 campaign against the Breakers in New Zealand on Wednesday.
