Under NBL concussion protocols, CQUniversity Cairns Taipans rookie Sam Waardenburg has been ruled out for the remainder of the Round 11 games.
He will miss tomorrow's game in Tasmania as well as Tuesday's home game against the Perth Wildcats.
Waardenburg was injured in the third quarter against the Brisbane Bullets on Wednesday.
Development player Josh Davey will suit in his place.
