The Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans play their first 2026-27 NBL game tomorrow in Sydney but will be without Jaylin Galloway and Luke Paul to start their season.
Galloway remains sidelined as he recovers from shoulder surgery. He is scheduled to return to the active roster in Round 6 and will be replaced by development player Lloyd McVeigh in the meantime.
Paul injured his ankle during the pre-season and his NBL debut is currently set for Round 3.
