CQUniversity Cairns Taipans forward Kouat Noi has been ruled out for up to 12 weeks, due to an injury sustained in Round 10 against the Sydney Kings.
Noi slipped on the court in the third quarter on Sunday and tore his posterior cruciate ligament. Recovery time for this relatively common injury can vary, and he will continue to be evaluated. Provided his rehabilitation progresses as expected, it is unlikely Noi will require surgery.
Noi joins Majok Deng on the sidelines, who is currently recovering from a partial tear to his MCL.
The Taipans return to the Cairns Pop-up Arena this Sunday, hosting the Adelaide 36ers. Click here for tickets.
