The CQUniversity Cairns Taipans declare that guards Mirko Djeric and Jordan Ngatai will not travel to Perth due to injury, and development player Brayden Inger will suit up on the road.
Djeric is recovering from a calf tear he sustained at the NBL Blitz, and is expected to return in 2-3 weeks.
Ngatai hurt his right foot at training yesterday and has remained in Cairns for additional scans to determine the extent of the injury.
The Taipans play their first game of the season on Sunday 5 December in Perth against the Wildcats.
