Club Statement: Jackson Makoi

The Cairns Taipans have been made aware that Jackson Makoi has been arrested and is assisting police with their investigation. He will not be available for today’s game (Sydney v Cairns) at Qudos Bank Arena.
The matter has been referred to the Basketball Australia Integrity Unit and the Club has advised the NBL.
The Club will not provide any further comments at this time.
