Club Statement - Indigenous Round

This year, the CQUniversity Cairns Taipans’ allocated home game during the NBL’s 2023-24 Indigenous Round coincides with Remembrance Day - November 11.  

To respectfully acknowledge both events, the Taipans will celebrate Indigenous Round on November 18, and save wearing their 2023-24 Indigenous uniforms (featuring original artwork from esteemed Kuku Yalanji artist Dale Oliver) for this special game at the Cairns Convention Centre. 

Indigenous Round continues to be an integral fixture in the club's calendar each season.
