Cairns to face Melbourne in Pre-Season clash

The Kenfrost Homes Cairns Taipans will head to Casey Stadium for the second pre-season in a row, with a fixture against Melbourne United confirmed.
Facing Melbourne on Saturday 29 August at 6:30pm, it'll give the Taipans a chance to prepare for the 2026 NBL Blitz in Bendigo which runs from 2-6 September.
Heading into regional Victoria the following week, Cairns will face Perth and Adelaide at Red Energy Arena, the same stadium where they defeated Melbourne United in Round 16 last season.
Broadcast information and additional warmup games will be revealed in the coming weeks.
