2023 Taipans Free Agency

Ahead of the 2023 NBL Free Agency period, the CQUniversity Cairns Taipans announce the following options taken/not taken on the following players -

Lat Mayen

Club Option: Taken

Majok Deng

Player/club option: Not taken

Ben Ayre

Club option: Not taken

The Taipans will exercise their club option for Lat Mayen, and have elected not to take up theiroption for Ben Ayre.

Majok Deng has a mutual club/player option, and he has chosen to explore free agency.

Meanwhile, the Taipans and Mirko Djeric have agreed to a mutual release from the final year of his contract.
