The Taipans were honoured to hear from Kuku Yalanji elder Roy Gibson and how the Cultural Centre started with his Dreamtime Walk tours through the Mossman Gorge.
This education was important as this year's Indigenous uniforms were designed by Dale Oliver, an esteemed Kuku Yalanji artist.
The Kuku Yalanji people are the Indigenous inhabitants of the land and have a history dating back 50,000 years to the earliest human occupation of Australia. Special thanks to Rachael Hodges (Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre) and Kurt Schulte-Schrepping (Yoyages Indigenous Tourism Australia) 🖤💛❤️
