Biography
Gabe Hadley has built himself a tremendous career in the NBL1 South at the Geelong United Supercats to bang down the door to the NBL, and he has joined the Brisbane Bullets for NBL24.
The now 25-year-old has carved out a terrific career for himself at the Supercats firstly in the SEABL and now the NBL1 South competition, and with his all-round talents as a guard who could shoot, score and run his team's offence, an NBL chance seemed just a matter of time.
He did receive his first taste of the NBL at the Cairns Taipans firstly as a training player, then injury replacement player and more recently in the 2022/23 season as a development player where he got to make his debut.
On the back of that, he returned to the Supercats for the 2023 NBL1 South season and helped them to a flying finish to the season despite narrowly missing the finals. He was terrific averaging 20.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals a game.
He now has reunited with his Geelong coach Justin Schueller at the Bullets as he looks to take advantage of what he hopes will be more opportunities.
