Biography
Standing 213cm tall with a 226cm wingspan, Edwards has established himself as a dominant dunking and shot-blocking force across his time in the NBA G League and NCAA.
Born and raised in Amsterdam, Edwards was a standout youth player, which led him to the famed IMG Academy in Florida, which has produced NBA big-men such as Zach Edey and Mark Williams.
From there, the rim-runner played at Syracuse University, where he starred four seasons and was named to the ACC All-Defensive Team in 2023, before moving on to West Virginia for his final collegiate campaign.
Despite going undrafted in 2024, Edwards quickly signed a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he played a pair of NBA games and 34 G League games, averaging 11.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per night.
